What is Truth?

A fundamental problem of the classical concept of truth is brought under investigation here, that is the meaning of statements' conformity to the objective reality. An essentially novel though quite formal in pattern interpretation of the classical concept of truth is set forth in this paper. The problem is considered utilizing methods of modern logic. Nevertheless an attempt has been made to avoid unnecessary logic-mathematical complexities and to lay special emphasis on a conceptual aspect of the problem.

The theory about an immortality of soul in neoplatonics and neopythagoreans philosophy.

One of the first which presented speculative deductions about an immortality of soul was Greek philosophy. After Plato and Socrates the theory about an immortality of soul were worked out by representatives of neoplatonism and by neopythagoreans. The search of means of escaping from sin and sewage was turned against scepticism and pessimism which dominated in Roman society in the first century A.D. In neoplatonism pagan cogitation made the last attempt to find out truth, and destroy impediment which separated humans from God.

Existential aspect of the religious philosophy of Hinduism

Hinduism is characterized by definite existential features of its main elements of religious consciousness, as the way of search for the highest transcendental principle inside oneself and its adequate application to the content of existence in the surrounding material reality. The ultimate existential goal of human existence in this life is to achieve the unity with the "Absolute Reality", or Brahman, which is possible after complete liberation itself (Moksha) from chains of cause and effect ties of material life (Samsara). Hinduism offers its own existential philosophical "method" of attaining that.

The subject of this article is extreme forms of the thief's cultures. There is investigated the specifics of their psychology and consciousness. Criminality is understood as one of immanent forms of human development, which originated from some social and anthropological causes. There is considered the main traits of such organized forms of criminality as a mafia and Russian "thieves-in-law". The author strived to describe chief indications of their anthropological-psychological portrait. There are a natural predilection for hedonism, the specific form of socialization and a brutality. In addition there is ascertained that professional criminals have their specific ideology which can be named as an extreme viewpoint.
